Came here with some friends during my Toronto visit - Heard this place gets very busy - so highly recommend getting yourself onto the waiting list as the line up piles up fast, one second it was no queue and suddenly you'd be 20th in line. Plenty of parking space - place it super clean and tidy from the moment you walk in. Service was on point for an All you can eat establishment - it almost felt like there was a server spying on your table, as the speed they have clearing empty plates and assisting you is like mind blowing! Meat was delicious - very fresh and good cuts - and I also like how they have the strainer in your bowl, something I haven't seen in Vancouver. Overall no complaints from me, and will likely re-visit the next time I'm in Toronto :)
Had a wonderful experience enjoying Shabu Shabu Japanese hot pot! The food was fresh and flavorful, and the broth options were excellent. A special shoutout to our server, Bill, who offered fantastic service—attentive, friendly, and made the whole meal even more enjoyable. Don’t miss the ice cream at the end—perfectly balanced sweetness, not too sugary, just very nice. Highly recommend!
Best hotpot in the city hands down! Starting with the staff, from the hostesses, to the servers, and everyone in between - top quality service and kindness! Orders are taken quickly, and food comes out quickly! We love how there is a drawer at table side with more napkins, chopsticks, and even a bib/apron to keep yourself clean! Very convenient. The food itself is very delicious! With the amount of veggies you can get, it’s a great health conscious option for an AYCE. Sukiyaki soup base is our go to! Premium beef brisket and beef chuck are the top meat options! Sides/appetizers of Hokkaido potato chips, chicken wings, and steak cutlet are all very good! Great job Daimaru team keep it up!
This place is amazing! Easily the best hot pot place in GTA. When you order, the food will come when you are still ordering. It's that fast. Literally, you order, and it's on your table. Tea & Vicky were amazing and very kind. Great service!
The food came out fast and but the workers were faster. The service was amazing the the servers are Eagle eyed. They fill the soup broths when they can and they are so attentive. Our server quick and took our dishes as soon as we finished. It was pretty funny because sometimes we didn't even see them take our empty dishes away. Sometimes they were faster to take the empty dishes before me . Highly recommend. It's expensive but the best place to visit for special occasions.
It was our first time dining here, and we’ll definitely be coming back! The food was excellent. We ordered Tom Yum and Sukiyaki as our soup bases, and both were delicious. The service was equally impressive. Chen was very attentive and took the initiative to check in with us and ask if we wanted to add anything to our order. Overall, I’d rate the experience a solid 10/10. The only minor downside was the waiting time, but with how popular the place is, it’s understandable. Just make sure to be patient and reserve a seat ahead of time for a smoother experience.
I was with 2 friends and we really enjoyed our stay here. Service was great, food was excellent and we had a great time while our servers were really appropriately helpful. The team was welcoming and hospitable, and Fabian, in particular, addressed our requests with patience in our language. We did not expect the team to go that far for us, and we are grateful for them doing extra for us. My friend forgot to mention Fabian’s name in his review, and we would like to stress on it for all he has done for us.
I had such a great time dining here! The hotpot selection was fresh, flavorful, and offered plenty of options to suit everyone’s taste. From the rich broths to the variety of meats, seafood, and veggies — everything was top quality and delicious. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server Mia was so friendly, attentive, and patient, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They took the time to explain the different broth options and offered great recommendations. It really made us feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy, fun, and satisfying hotpot meal. Can’t wait to come back!
